Stories from the Land
Does land have memory? What stories might the land be trying to tell us? How does the land express those stories?
If I stand quietly in a place long enough, I can hear the words the wind whispers to me as it dances through my hair, I feel the sentences a creek builds against my fingers dipped in the water, I perceive the messages released by the unfolding of flower petals.
I listen to the land for the stories it wants to tell me. In return for what I am privileged to hear, I share these stories to give the land a voice and to inspire people to act on its behalf.
