This image was taken in Durango, Colorado on a weekend vacation with my family. We snowmobiled out to an overlook at sunset, the guide letting me linger a bit longer than everyone else to get the nice winter sunset light. I hiked a bit away from the snowmobile track and sank up to my waist in snow. The view from the spot was perfect so I stayed there buried waiting for the right moment of light. Nature did not disappoint for spending the extra minutes.
