Monsoon Light

Heading north on I-25 one spring afternoon, I noted a storm moving in over the short grass prairie and just knew I had to pull off the highway and see what I might be able to capture with my camera under these low hanging monsoon clouds. This line of red foothills paintbrush led my eye to the opening clouds with light streaming through in the distance. Best rest stop at Wagon Mound ever.
