A Place of Our Own

from $75.00

The pair sandhill cranes seem to be enjoying the relative quiet of a wetland at sunset without a lot of other birds present.

I take a trip to Bosque del Apache at least once a year to visit with the sandhill cranes and snow geese and other wildlife that roam this vast wilderness and nature refuge. Spending a few sunrises and sunsets standing under hundreds of rising and honking birds is one of the most moving wildlife spectacles that I am grateful to be able to experience again and again. Having visited this place for 10 years in a row and counting, it is a location where I can push myself and my creative vision to see something new and capture the same scenes in ways I haven’t before. Check back each year for the new results.
